The online publication Zvezda (Star) was fined 750 thousand rubles (10,014 USD) on the administrative article for distribution of fakes. Two days after publishing the article about the situation with COVID-19, online magazine corrected the information about the number of infected doctors in the region and apologized. The court found that the fake story was published intentionally.
