On 26 October, an incident occurred on the grounds of the Hovhannavank monastery complex, where the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, had arrived to take part in a ceremonial liturgy, involving parishioners from the nearby village of Ohanavan and journalists. In particular, an attack was carried out on Zvart Khachatryan, a correspondent for the news website 168.am: one of the women grabbed the journalist by the hair and pulled her towards herself, and then attempted to snatch her microphone.
