The Maladzyechna District Court declared «extremist materials» the content of a page in VKontakte belonging to Zoya Khrutskaya, a former correspondent of the Rehiyanalnaya Hazeta. Based on the court ruling, the Ministry of Information included this personal page of the journalist in the «Republican List of Extremist Materials». According to the Belarusian law, distribution and storage of materials declared extremist provide for administrative liability for both publishers and users.
