On February 3, Valery Ostalep, the former deputy minister of foreign affairs during the communist era, shared photos of Nokta journalist Zoya Dubaeva from his personal Facebook page on his Telegram channel. He was especially "struck" by a photo of her in front of the Russkiy Mir Foundation banner, leading him to suggest that supporters of the Russkiy Mir Foundation operate under the cover of night, which he claims undermines the fight against Russian propaganda as a mere illusion.
