At the demand of Roskomnadzor, the editorial board removed from its website 15 publications that quoted materials from the media outlet Proekt. Roskomnadzor referred to the demand of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Proekt is declared an «undesirable» organisation in Russia. Znak.com’s publications were based on investigations by Proekt, including those published before it was added to the «undesirable» list — in particular, about Ramzan Kadyrov’s «second wife» and the property of Rossiya 24 host Nailya Asker-Zade. Other media outlets have also complied with similar demands of the Roskomnadzor.
