At least 43 media workers were detained by the security forces on October 11 while covering protests against the results of the presidential election. The journalist was detained when he was leaving the taxi. He was brought to the local police station where two administrative reports were drawn up to him: for the alleged disobedience to the police and for participation in the unauthorized event. Before the trial he was kept in the pre-trial detention centre. The court found him guilty and issued a fine.
