The former President of Moldova Igor Dodon sued the newspaper 'Ziarul de Garda' and the author of the investigation about the expensive vacations of Dodon during his time in the public service, including when he was the President of the country. The President asked for an apology in court for the publication of photographs depicting him, his family and his entourage in expensive hotels abroad. In his claim, Dodon said that his right to privacy and the right to honour and dignity were violated.
