The mayor of the city of Chambarak, Vazgen Adamyan, filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court against the founder of the “Zhamanak newspaper” (Media Kentron LLC) - demanding compensation for damages to his honour and dignity. The lawsuit followed an article that stated some had accused Adamyan of selling humanitarian aid in his friend’s store aimed at military personnel and refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh. The claim was accepted on January 25, and the trial began.
