Additional information:

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus included the online media Zerkalo in the list of «extremist formations». The media was created in forced exile by former employees of the news portal Tut.by, which was shut down by the authorities in 2021. The list includes Zerkalo’s website (news.zerkalo.io), Telegram channels, social networks accounts, YouTube channel, mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms, and logo. According to the law, any interaction with resources declared «extremist formations» (for users, even a subscription or a repost) can be grounds for criminal prosecution and imprisonment for up to 7 years for participation in an extremist formation or assistance to an extremist formation (Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
