On July 15, 2021, during the first hearing on the merits against freelance journalist Vladislav Yesipenko in the Simferopol District Court, civil journalist Zedin Adzhikelyamov filed a motion to conduct video- and photo shooting during the session. Adzhikelyamov's request was rejected, and the court did not allow him in the courtroom due to measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection. At the same time, the court admitted citizen journalist Lutfie Zudiyeva as a listener and noted that it allowed the presence of only one listener in the hall.
