On March 24, 2022, the judge of the Krasnogvardeyskoye District Court Kristina Pikula considered two administrative reports against the active social networks user and head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people Zair Smedlyaev. In the first report, he was accused of discrediting the Russian army for comparing the «special operation» with the genocide. The judge fined him RUB 40,000. In the second report, he was accused of propaganda of Nazism for the publication in 2014 of a photo of a Jewish synagogue, on the walls of which vandals drew a swastika. The judge arrested him for 2 days.
