On March 24, 2022, in Krasnogvardeyskoye, the law enforcers searched the apartment of the head of the Central Election Commission of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people and social networks user Zair Smedlyaev, as a result of which the digital media were seized, and Smedlyaev himself was detained. He was taken to the police, where a report was drawn up on him under Article 20.3 and Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. A few hours later, he was taken to court.
