During professional duties near the building of the Crimean garrison military court in Simferopol, police officers detained civil journalist Zair Abdulzhemilev among others. The next day, he was found guilty under Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (organization of mass simultaneous presence of citizens in public places, resulting in violation of public order). The Central District Court fined him RUB 15,000.
