Belarusian propagandists and state media have accused Yury Zhyhimont, the author and host of the program “Padarozhzha Dyletanta” (“The Amateur's Journey”), of unprofessionalism, falsifying facts, and Russophobia. This happened after a new episode of the show was released on May 23, 2025, following a break, on the YouTube channel “Padarozhzhi z Zhyhimontam.” “Padarozhzha Dyletanta” is a well-known Belarusian TV program in which the host travels around Belarus and talks about its history, culture, and traditions. From 2002 to 2015, it aired on Belarusian television until it was taken off the air due to the “improper presentation of information.” The video project later continued on YouTube.
