The business people Olga Pavlenko and Vladimir Mikhailov filed a lawsuit on defense of honor, dignity and business reputation against founder of the publication Aktobe Times owned by Fest, LLP, a journalist of the publication Yury Nesterenko, and Aleksandr Omelniktsky, the former director of MAREX Ltd LLP. The plaintiffs believe that the respondents, in an article, “Lifehack from Olga Pavlenko, Director of Legion, LLP: How to Obtain Goods and Loans for Nearly 1.5 Billion Tenge [US $3.6 million] and Not Pay Debts,” disseminated information that does not correspond to reality, and defames their honor, dignity and the business reputation of Legion, LLP. On February 26, the court rejected the demands of the businesspeople.
