On August 25, the resident of the Kushmurun village Usam Guchigov filed a private complaint with a court in the Kostanay region, in which he demands that blogger Yury Katalevich be held criminally liable for insult. Guchigov accuses Katalevich of disseminating information defaming his honour and dignity on the website Kushmurun, secretly taking and distributing photos to his relatives and villagers. Yury Katalevich denies the charges.
