The trial against Yury Hladchuk, the editor of the advertising projects of Autobusiness — abw.by, has started. He was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus: Article 342 (organisation and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order or active participation in them) and Article 368 (insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus). The trial was held in the Frunzensky District Court of Minsk, its result is still unknown — due to the pressure of law enforcers, relatives and colleagues refused to communicate with human rights defenders. Hladchuk was detained on June 16, 2022, and kept in custody until the trial.
