The Moscow Prosecutor’s Office is conducting a check against Yury Dud under the article on «discrediting» the Russian army (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The inspection was initiated following a denunciation by «public activist» Vitaly Borodin after the publication of Dud’s video interview with singer Vika Tsyganova and her husband Vadim. The denunciation states that the journalist expressed his opinion about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces on the territory of Ukraine in a «cynical and pejorative form, calling the military operation in Ukraine a war, as well as directly about the Russian president and representatives of state structures».
