The police detained the journalist and took him to the local police station, where he was accused of participating in an unauthorised event (Article 23.34 of the Administrative Code). Before the trial, the journalist was kept in jail for two days. On 5 February, the court returned the police report for revision, and Deshuk was released until the next case hearing.
