Yulia Slutskaya was detained at the airport when she returned with her family from vacation and taken away for inspection. Later it became known that Slutskaya was taken to the Financial Investigations Department for interrogation. Security officers conducted searches in her apartment and the office of the Press Club. As a result, they seized computer equipment, electronic devices and documents. After the interrogation, she was held in custody for 72 hours as a suspect in the criminal case of tax evasion on a large scale (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
