The police came to the flat of the parents of the journalist, where she was registered. The ruling stated that Matuzava was a suspect in a criminal case for involvement in the Telegram channel Punishers of Belarus (declared extremist on March 22, 2021). As a result of the search, the law enforcers seized a computer hard drive, mother’s tablet, several photos, and a calendar with white-red-white kittens. Matuzava herself is now outside the country, she left Belarus in the summer after the authorities closed the office of European Radio for Belarus. The former journalist of Euroradio categorically denies her involvement in the Telegram channel Punishers of Belarus.
