The Leninsky District Court of Mogilev has recognised the YouTube channel “Zhizn-malina” (identifier: youtube.com/@malina_by) as extremist information material. It is a video channel run by blogger Nikita Melkozerov, which features interviews with well-known Belarusians. A YouTube channel by the same blogger with the same name had already been declared “extremist” by the Central District Court of Minsk in April 2022. On the basis of the court ruling, the Belarusian Ministry of Information added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entails administrative liability for both publishers and users.
