The Liozna District Court of the Vitebsk Region has designated the YouTube channel “Vitebshchyna As It Is” (youtube.com/@viciebsk_live), which publishes local news, as extremist informational material. Following the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added this online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
