The Leninsky District Court of Mogilev has declared the video “Lukashenko Wants to Restore Legitimacy. Anatoly Lebedko on the Release of Belarusian Political Prisoners”, published on the YouTube channel of the Russian media outlet SOTA (identifier: youtube.com/@sotavision), to be extremist informational material. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Ministry of Information of Belarus has added the internet resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
