The Homel District Court of the Homel Region has designated the YouTube channel “Lampa” (identifier: https://www.youtube.com/@lampa_by) as extremist informational material. The resource publishes interviews by Belarusian journalist and blogger Ilya Malinovsky about events in Belarus. On the basis of the court’s ruling, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has also added the YouTube channel “Lampa” to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
