By a decision of the Leninsky District Court of Mogilev, the YouTube channel “Delfi Lithuania” (identifier: youtube.com/@rudelfi_lt) has been recognised as extremist informational material. DELFI.lt is a Lithuanian news portal whose content covers, among other things, events in Belarus. The online resource has been blocked in Belarus since 2023. On the basis of the court’s ruling, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the YouTube channel “Delfi Lithuania” to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials recognised as extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
