The Leninsky District Court of Mogilev has recognised the YouTube channel “BELSAT NOW” (identifier: youtube.com/@belsat_now) as extremist informational material. The video channel broadcasts news from Belarus. On the basis of the court’s decision, the Belarusian Ministry of Information has added the online resource to the Republican List of Extremist Materials. Under Belarusian law, the distribution and storage of materials deemed extremist entail administrative liability for both publishers and users.
