Yakutia-based media outlet Ykt.ru has announced its shutdown following the passing of a law on fakes about the Russian military. Arsen Tomsky, the publication's founder, said: «To preserve the reputation of the portal and the team and our glorious history, we have decided to shut down Ykt.Ru. The time has come to close the portal. I stress that this is our own decision, taken the situation into consideration».
