Yevgeny Sautin, the 17-year-old employee of the media Dovod, was searched. The investigation took place in a criminal case on vandalism committed for ideological or political motives (Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Sautin was a witness in the case. According to the law enforcers, the reason was that the media Dovod was the first to publish a picture of graffiti on its website. The police seized smartphones, notebooks, computers, as well as other equipment, data carriers and documents in the apartments of journalists and activists, based on the ruling of the Oktyabrsky District Court of Vladimir, which, according to law enforcement officers, could be related to the criminal case. On April 12, Sautin left Russia.
