The Southern District Military Court has sentenced Yevgeny Chafonov, a 29-year-old blogger from Novorossiysk, to two and a half years in a penal colony. He was also banned from administering Internet resources for two years after his release. The investigation believes that on the evening of August 24, Chafonov, while on the embarkment of Novorossiysk, recorded video messages with threats to local residents — law enforcers saw in them «calls to carry out terrorist activities». In one of the messages, the blogger shouted «I would blow you all up! I would shoot you all!», and at the end he added the slogan «Glory to Ukraine!».
