Yevgeniya Vazhenina was detained at a protest rally on February 15 and held for a night at the police station until the trial. On February 16, after a hearing where Vazhenina was fined RUB 150,000 under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for an action in support of Furgal (as reported by SOTA), she was detained again and held for a night. On February 17, the Tsentralny District Court fined her RUB 15,000 for participating in an action that interfered with infrastructure and traffic (Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) for the march of October 24, 2020 in support of the arrested ex-governor Sergey Furgal.
