On October 27, during the visit of the President of the European Council Charles Michel to the capital of Kazakhstan, the Astana office of Radio Azattyq was visited by a police officer. He demanded to remove the video of the foreign official's motorcade leaving the Akorda presidential residence. The video shot by cameraman Yerzhan Amirkhanov during the day depicted an executive vehicle moving along the road accompanied by about a dozen cars, vans, and SUVs with flashing beacons. The footage shows security forces on the edges of the deserted street against the background of a residence.
