Global Gold Mining LLC filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against the founder of the news website Yerkir.am, Yerkir Editorial Board LLC, demanding to refute the information considered libel. On April 6, the aforementioned website published an article, which reported that 140 employees of the bankrupt Global Gold Mining hadn’t received their salaries for 10 years. The gold mining company submitted a refutation to the editorial office in this regard, which was published on April 11. The next day, April 12, however, a new publication on the same subject appeared on the website — «Global Gold Mining’s Claims are Obvious Lies: Unpaid Workers Refute GMM’s Denial». This prompted the lawsuit, which is being considered.
