On April 20, the former Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Arevik Anapiosyan filed a lawsuit against Media Plus LLC demanding a public refutation of the factual data considered as libel and payment of compensation in the amount of AMD 2,000,000. The reason for the lawsuit was two articles published on the Media Plus-owned website Yerevan.Today stating that the National Security Service is preparing materials on a criminal case against Arevik Anapiosyan, and this was the reason for her resignation. The case proceedings were initiated and the trial is in progress.
