Journalist Yerbol Mandibek, who previously worked in the state media, published a post that in Kazakhstan, up to KZT 20 billion per year is spent on air travel for members of the government and heads of parliament and that passengers are offered black caviar and expensive alcohol during the flights. The press service of the prime minister denied the information, noting that the journalist distorts the facts and spreads false information «in pursuit of public resonance».
