Oligarch Oleg Deripaska has filed a lawsuit with the Tagansky District Court of Moscow to protect his honour, dignity, and business reputation against the founder of the Russia Behind Bars Foundation Olga Romanova and the creator of the media outlet The Bell and YouTube channel This is Osetinskaya Yelizaveta Osetinskaya. Deripaska is asking to recognise as invalid and defamatory the statement that the oligarch has two private military companies. The businessman demands that Osetinskaya remove the interview in its entirety and that Romanova publish a refutation on Twitter. Deripaska is asking for a fine of RUB 10,000 for each day of non-compliance with the court’s decision.
