A court in Yekaterinburg arrested the journalist Yelena Shukayeva under the article on demonstration of extremist symbols (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) for the publication on the social network VKontakte of a link to the video of the Anti-Corruption Foundation in 2017. She went on a hunger strike. Shukayeva was detained in court, where two of her appeals against fines under the article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) were pending. In May, Shukayeva was sentenced to five fines under this article, totaling RUB 200,000.
