Yelena Semyonova, who deals with the rights of prisoners, was involved in the trial as a defendant in a lawsuit for the protection of the business reputation of the administration of the colony AK-159/6. The reason for the proceedings was a post about the beating of two convicts in the colony, published by the human rights activist. On May 12, the court partially satisfied the claim, recognizing the information about the beating of the convicts not corresponding to reality and discrediting the business reputation of the plaintiff. The court obliged Yelena Semyonova to refute it within 10 days from the date the decision came into legal force.
