In Rostov-on-Don, employees of the Centre for Combatting Extremism are checking the media outlet 1Rnd for «extremism». The reason for the check was a news item under the headline «In Rostov, unknown persons pasted anti-mobilisation leaflets under the nose of the Centre for Combatting Extremism», which reported that leaflets with an anti-war appeal to mobilised people were scattered on the street near the Centre for Combatting Extremism building. The police questioned the editor-in-chief Yelena Dorovskikh in the presence of a lawyer. A linguistic examination has been appointed: linguists are to determine whether the words «under the nose of the Centre for Combatting Extremism» are incitement to hostility towards law enforcement officers. According to Dorovskikh, the officers tried to present the situation in such a way that there was no leaflet posting — allegedly, there was only a media report about it.
