Journalist Yekaterina Yanshina was detained near the Golovinsky District Court of Moscow, where the co-chairman of the human rights center Memorial Oleg Orlov was being tried for repeated «discrediting» of the army (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). She was handing out badges with the writing «Opinion is not a crime.» The law enforcers did not explain the reason for her detention and threatened her with physical violence. She was taken to the Koptevo district police station, from where she was released without a report.
