She was charged with Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (violation of the order of holding a public event) for the action on January 18. Later, the journalist was released from the police station. On January 29, the court fined the journalist RUB 10,000 for alleged participation in the rally on January 18. The court considered «participation» her work in live broadcasting.
