Federal Security Service officers searched the apartments of Communist activists Yekaterina Fatyanova and Vladimir Komarov, who edit the newspaper «Workers and peasants’ sickle and hammer». As Fatyanova wrote on social networks, three FSS officers with two witnesses came to her apartment for a search at 07:30 AM on July 28. According to the activist, she is suspected of spreading fakes through the newspaper about communism, the editor of which she is. According to Fatyanova’s posts on social networks, it is not quite clear whether she is talking about «military fakes» or «discrediting the army». During the search, her phone, two SIM cards, and an issue of the newspaper were confiscated. After the search, she was questioned in the regional FSS office and released without procedural status. During the interrogation, the officers were interested in the material in the newspaper «Symbols», which discusses the use of the letter Z by the Russian authorities.
