Additional information:

The journalist was detained by the police when he was covering a protest against the presidential election results. During the detention, he was beaten with truncheons. The journalist was taken to the detention centre, where he was held overnight until the trial. He was drawn up a report on violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). On August 11, the court found Yushkouski guilty and arrested him for two days.
