The Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Irina Venediktova, filed a civil lawsuit against the journalist for attacks on their “honour, dignity, business reputation” and “refutation of false information”. This followed Yanina’s interview with a freelance NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau) agent, in which the agent talked about a corruption investigation and the possible connections with Venediktova.
