Security officers conducted a search in Khodarevskaya’s grandparents’ house, where she is registered. The journalist lives in St Petersburg. Her mother was taken into questioning to the Investigative Committee. According to Khodarevskaya, the search was connected to her April article about coronavirus pandemic at the Vyasemsk care home. The article has subsequently taken down.
