Ramenskoye City Court put Yan Katelevsky in custody in the case of extortion (Paragraph B of Part 3 of Article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). On August 17, the Lyubertsy City Court decision to arrest Katelevsky in the case of property damage from hooliganism motives (Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was revoked. The blogger was placed under house arrest but was detained the same day again.
