The Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested documentary filmmaker Vsevolod Korolyov until September 11. He is accused of spreading «fakes» about the Russian army motivated by political hatred (Paragraph E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation): Korolyov, according to the investigation, published «false information about the actions of Russian soldiers in Ukraine» — the events in Bucha, Borodianka, and Donetsk. Korolyov was detained on September 13 and had his apartment searched. The director had made documentaries about a concert in support of artist Sasha Skochilenko and journalist Maria Ponomarenko. Both were arrested under an article on «military fakes».
