The Vyborgsky District Court of St. Petersburg arrested documentary filmmaker Vsevolod Korolyov until September 11. He is accused of spreading «fakes» about the Russian army motivated by political hatred (Paragraph E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation): Korolyov, according to the investigation, published «false information about the actions of Russian soldiers in Ukraine» — the events in Bucha, Borodianka, and Donetsk. Korolyov was detained on September 13 and had his apartment searched. The director had made documentaries about a concert in support of artist Sasha Skochilenko and journalist Maria Ponomarenko. Both were arrested under an article on «military fakes». On September 8, the court extended the measure of restraint until October 11.
