A district court in Almaty considered a claim for the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation of citizen B.Zh. against Vremya Publishing House LLP and journalist Tokhniyaz Kuchukov. The plaintiff demanded to oblige the defendants to publish a refutation of the article «You are welcome to complain!» (Vremya, 20.12.2017). On February 16, the court left the suit without consideration due to the plaintiff’s application to return the suit and the defendants’ motion about the plaintiff’s failure to comply with the pre-trial dispute resolution procedure.
