Law enforcers detained journalist Volha Radzivonava. They searched her flat and seized computer equipment and a smartphone. At first, the journalist was placed in a temporary detention centre. Later, it became known that a criminal case was opened against Radzivonava and she was transferred to the detention center № 1. During her detention, she was sent for a psychiatric examination to the hospital in Navinki. Volha is accused under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus: Part 1 and 2 of Article 367 (libel against Lukashenko), Article 369-1 (discrediting the Republic of Belarus), Part 1 of Article 130 (incitement of racial, national, religious or other social enmity or discord), and Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting Lukashenko). She was tried in Minsk City Court on November 16, 2024. The case is being considered by judge Vera Galavkova.
